Student Parent Relationship Extract
A new ‘Student Parent Relationship List’ program is now available in the student administration area of TASS.web. This provides schools with a means of generating the contact details of parents who share a particular relationship with a student.

BPAY Reference Numbers: Character Expansion

Staff Orbit: Custom Roll Reports
We have introduced a feature that allows users to generate PDF and CSV reports for custom rolls within a specified date range, selecting rolls based on their source. These reports provide attendance statistics for students during the selected date range.
Correct NESA Format for Subjects Data Upload
We have enhanced the Students Record Module to allow school administrators to easily export student subject data in the correct NESA upload format. When you click the 'Export Subject Data' button, a .csv file will be created with all the necessary information. The export will automatically follow your configured settings, removing the need for manual adjustments and simplifying the NESA submission process.

Staff Orbit - Staff Custom Rolls (Emergencies)
The Staff Orbit API now supports custom staff rolls for emergencies in the Staff Orbit App. A new checkbox has been added under Staff Kiosk Rollcall > Emergency Types (Setup) to enable this feature. Users with the 'Create/End Emergencies' permission can create custom emergency rolls and mark all staff members present. Custom Roll administrators are assigned based on the selected campus. Users without permission can still mark themselves as present using the Self Check-In option. This update ensures smoother roll management during emergencies.

Alternate ID Fields for Employee Records
A new 'Alternate ID' field has been introduced for employee records. This new field is designed to capture alternative identification information such as unique barcodes or magnetic swipe card numbers.

Purchase Order Hyperlinks
The Invoices screen has been enhanced to now include a hyperlink to any linked purchase orders within the 'PO Number(s)' field. These hyperlinks allow users to easily switch between an invoice and a purchase order with a single click.
Accounts Payable API Endpoint
This release includes a new 'setGLCredit' endpoint to the Accounts Payable API. This allows third-party applications to enter and apply Credits for Supplier Transactions in TASS.web. Schools utilising alternative accounts payable solutions will no longer need to double-handle credit notes.

Payroll and Online Timesheet Entries
Online Timesheets can now be viewed in TASS.web after finalising a Pay Run. When an employee's payment is associated with a Timesheet, a link will appear to open the corresponding Timesheet. This will provide Payroll Officers with greater transparency when it comes to payroll transactions that have originated from the Staff Portal's Online Timesheet feature.

Parent Statement Layout Options
The 'SmartaPay Layout' option has been removed from the layout options when generating Parent Statements. The SmartaPay layout is outdated and no longer supported by TASS.

Academic Reporting Legacy Programs
As a part of webBook's End-of-Life, the 'Objective/Results Comments' and 'Result Based Comment Translations' programs in TASS.web have been removed. The functionality these products offered can now be found on the 'Result Based Comments' tab in the Assessment Setup program in TASS.web.

Student Note Category-Based Permissions
Access to Student Note Categories can now be regulated in TASS.web with the introduction of User Permission Security Points for each Student Note Category defined by your school. This functionality is an extension of what is available for the Staff Portal.
Student Note Category permissions can be assigned to individual users or role groups. After installing this update, users with exisiting access to Student 'Notes' tabs and 'Confidential Notes' table will automatically be granted access to all permissions points, which aligns with exisiting functionality. Please review and adjust permissions as necessary following the update.
Staff Orbit - Update Details
Staff members now have a streamlined and convenient way to manage their personal information directly through the Staff Orbit app. With just a few taps, employees can easily access and update their details, including home address, next of kin information, and bank account details.
After making changes, the app automatically submits the updated information for review and approval, ensuring everything is handled efficiently and securely.
